About me

With a background in European Technology Marketing and a pre-children career in advertising, I took a new direction that led me to working closely with people—initially through teaching life skills like swimming. I’ve taught a wide range of ages and abilities, from babies with their parents to competitive athletes.

This passion for movement and skill-building extended into cycling. I launched and ran a successful learn-to-ride scheme for children, which evolved into teaching Bikeability—helping both children and adults gain the confidence and skills to ride safely on the road.

Today, my focus is on helping people take care of their bodies in a deeper way. I’ve long been fascinated by how the body moves, heals, and adapts. This curiosity led me to sports massage, an area that draws on knowledge from anatomy and nutrition to injury prevention and rehabilitation. I’m a qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist, and I’m continually expanding my expertise through courses, reading, and hands-on experience.

I’ve completed training in postural analysis, muscle imbalance correction, strengthening techniques, and muscle energy techniques. I'm currently studying strength and conditioning for therapists, and I’m qualified to use acupuncture to treat sports injuries. Recently, I’ve added foot therapy to my practice—addressing both pain and rehabilitation, and offering Reflexology as a way to treat the whole body. I also provide tailored treatments during pregnancy, whether to relieve specific discomfort, aid injury recovery, or simply support relaxation.

You’ll find me working from my home clinic most days, at Uppingham School Sports Centre, and at Freedom Physio in Ketton on Wednesdays. These varied settings give me valuable insight into a wide range of conditions and client needs, and I love bringing a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to every treatment.
